APREZO 30MG contain Apremilast which belongs to a group of medicine called phosphodiesterase 4 inhibitors. It is used to treat active psoriatic arthritis, moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis and Behcet’s disease (BD) in adults. Psoriatic arthritis is an inflammatory disease of the joint, that affects some people who have psoriasis which is an inflammatory disease condition of the skin. Plaque psoriasis is chararterised red, scaly, thick, itchy, painful patches on your skin and can also affect your scalp and nails. Behcet’s disease is a rare type of inflammatory disease which affect many parts of the body.

Always take APREZO 30MG exactly as your doctor has told you. This medicine must be taken with or without food. Try to take at the same time each day. It should be swallowed whole with water. It has no effect on the ability to drive and use machines. This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents aged 17 years and under. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. The most common side effects are diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, headaches, migraines or tension headaches, cold, runny nose, sinus infection, cough and back pain.
