Tacrovera Forte Ointment (15g) (Pack of 3)

TACROVERA FORTE contains Tacrolimus which belongs to the group of medicines called immunosuppressants. It is used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) in adults and in children (2 years of age and older), who are not adequately responsive for conventional therapies like topical corticosteroids. It can also be used as a maintenance therapy, for the prevention of flares and prolongation of flare-free intervals in patients having a high frequency of disease exacerbations (4 or more times/year) who had an initial response up to 6 weeks of treatment. Atopic dermatitis is an auto-immune skin disease, in which your skin becomes inflamed, red and itchy. Tacrolimus alters this abnormal immune function and relieves your skin from inflammation and itching. The most common side effects of applying this medicine are itching and burning sensation on the skin. This side effects are mild-moderate and generally disappears within 1 week of therapy.
