Rashnil Ointment (30 gm) (Pack of 3)

Rashnil Ointment 30gm contains Benzalkonium and Zinc oxide and is used to treat diaper rash and skin irritations like burns, cuts and scrapes. Benzalkonium is an antiseptic, disinfectant and antimicrobial preservative. It shows antimicrobial action against bacteria, fungi and viruses. It skin infections and is used to clean wounds. Benzalkonium is also used to treat itchy, dry and scaly scalp when used as a shampoo. On the other hand, Zinc oxide is a mild antiseptic and astringent (cleanses skin and tightens pores). It is a mineral that treats diaper rash, minor burns, chapped skin and skin irritations. When applied on the skin, it forms a barrier to protect it from moisture and irritants. Thus, it acts as a protective coating for mild skin irritations and abrasions. Rectal suppositories of Zinc oxide also treat itching, burning, irritation and rectal discomfort caused by haemorrhoids (piles) or painful bowel movements. Sometimes, Zinc oxide containing products may also be used as a sunscreen. Rashnil Ointment 30gm works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes.
