FM Derma Ointment helps treat and control skin infections caused by bacteria such as impetigo (red sores on the face). It kills the bacteria and stops the spread of infection to other parts of the body. It also gives relief from pain, redness, itching at the affected area and speeds up the healing process. You may notice your skin starting to get better within 4-5 days. Keep using FM Derma Ointment for as long as it is prescribed. FM Derma Ointment is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine. Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with plenty of water in case of accidental contact. Avoid covering the treated area with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor.
