Ajamoda possesses spasmolytic properties, which helps in relieving gastrointestinal tract spasms. Sunthi is an excellent anti-inflammatory and is used to treat pain and discomfort linked to inflammatory changes in the gastrointestinal tract. Sunthi/Ginger has gingerol, which inhibits the biosynthesis of prostaglandins (lipid compounds that have a role in pain perception).
